1946
Founded by L.L. (Butch) Weldy in 1946, Weldy Associates provided engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services.
1971
In 1971, Weldy-Lamont Associates, Inc. was formed when Dennis W. Lamont acquired Weldy Associates upon L.L. Weldy's retirement.
1977
From 1947 to 1977, the company operated from the same Chicago address. In 1977, Weldy Lamont Associates, Inc. relocated to 1008 E. Northwest in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
2004
In 2004, Patrick J. Hennelly and William T. Heberer became the third generation of owners of the company.
2012
In 2012, we outgrew our existing building and moved to our present location at 1040 W. Northwest Highway, also in Mount Prospect. We also have several branch offices in Indiana, St. Louis, Missouri, Rockford, Illinois, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
2023
In 2023, we embraced a fresh look with a rebrand while keeping our +75 year old mission at the forefront: Delivering infrastructure to areas that need it the most.
